Abilities of GOKU
Through vigorous training, Goku has achieved many extraordinary abilities, like incredible superhuman strength and durability. He also possesses super speed[36] and Light speedreflexes. Through his life force manipulation/natural energy manipulation/(Ki) Power/Ability, he can manipulate supernatural natural energy known as ki and exert powerful & devastating concussive beams. Through another sub-technique of Ki manipulation, he can put a aura to surround himself in natural energy, gaining nigh invulnerability. As a child, Goku wields the Nyoi-bo (如意棒 lit. "Power Pole"?), a magic staff that extends and retracts on command, given to him by Grandpa Gohan; but as he grows older and stronger, Goku eventually stops using the staff. Goku's first means of conveyance is a magic cloud called Kinto-un (筋斗雲 lit. "Somersault Cloud"?, renamed "Nimbus"), given to him by Master Roshi in return for saving Roshi's pet sea turtle. After training with Kami, he learns to fly by virtue of the technique Bukū-jutsu (舞空術 lit. "Air Dance Technique"?) and uses the cloud less frequently.
Goku's signature move is the Kamehameha (かめはめ波 lit. "Turtle Destruction Wave"?), a technique learned from Master Roshi. Kamehameha is created when you concentrate all of your body's latent energy and focusing it at one point, (it was usually concentrated at the palms of both of your hands, but Gohan once did it with only one hand at Super Saiyan lv. 2 form against Cell), . Master Roshi spent about 50 years to create the technique, but Goku performed a miniature version of the technique in his first try, which was enough to damage a car.
Another notable technique of Goku's, taught to him by King Kai, is the Kaiō-ken (界王拳 lit. "World King Fist"?), an attack that multiplies his Ki and strength for an instant, but can also strain his body afterwards, or could even kill him, (similar to the 8 Gates on Naruto). Goku's most powerful attack is the Genki Dama (元気玉 lit. "Spirit Bomb"?), an energy sphere created by gathering Ki from surrounding animals, nature and humans, which he also learned from King Kai.Goku also learns ateleportation skill called Shunkan Idō (瞬間移動 lit. "Instantaneous Transmission", (usually shorten to "Instant Transmission")?), which he learned from the inhabitants of the planet Yardrat.
Goku is the only Saiyan in the series to achieve all known Saiyan transformations seen in the manga. In Dragon Ball, he can transform into a gigantic monkey-like creature called an Ōzaru (大猿 lit. "Great Ape"?) when he stares at a full moon while possessing a Saiyan tail. Goku loses the ability to make this transformation when his friends cut off his tail. Although it grows back, Goku's tail is later permanently removed by Kami. Goku becomes the second Super Saiyan (first in the manga) in a thousand years; becoming enraged when Frieza kills Krillin on the planet Namek. Each metamorphosis changes Goku's appearance and enormously enhances his abilities. After training to better control the 1st and 2nd Levels of Super Saiyan, the 3rd Super Saiyan form causes Goku to act in a much more serious manner.
Another ability Goku has is to fuse with others, so long as their power levels are equalized. In the Majin Buu Saga he uses thePotara Earrings presented to him by the Elder Kai, which results in a 'perfect fusion', but it's an permanent fusion. Goku first attempts to fuse with Gohan, but this fails when the latter is absorbed by Buu, and so he persuades the newly arrived Vegeta to fuse with him, creating Vegeto ("Vegerot" in Viz Media's manga translation). In the film Fusion Reborn, the two use theMetamorese Fusion Dance, which creates Gogeta, who sports slight visual differences from their previous merger. If the dance is performed incorrectly, though, it forms the obese Veku or an underweight Gegito.

Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール Doragon Bōru?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with the 519 individual chapters published into 42 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha.Dragon Ball was initially inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West. The series follows the adventures of the protagonist, Son Goku, from his childhood through adulthood as he trains in martial arts and explores the world in search of the seven mystical orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which can summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Along his journey, Goku makes several friends and battles a wide variety of villains, many of whom also seek the Dragon Balls for their own desires.
In the earlier series of dragon ball z
The series begins with a young monkey-tailed boy named Goku befriending a teenage girl named Bulma. Together they go on a quest to find the seven Dragon Balls (ドラゴンボール?), which grant the user any wish they desire before spreading back out across the world, leading to confrontations with the desert bandit Yamcha, who later becomes an ally, Chi-Chi, whom Goku unknowingly agrees to marry, and Pilaf, who is also collecting them. Goku then undergoes rigorous training regimes under the martial artist Kame-Sen'nin in order to fight in the Tenkaichi Budōkai (天下一武道会?, "Strongest Under the Heavens Martial Arts Tournament") that attracts the most powerful fighters in the world. A monk named Kuririn becomes his training partner and rival, but they soon become best friends. After the tournament, Goku sets out on his own to recover the Dragon Ball his Grandfather left him and encounters the Red Ribbon Army, whose leader wants to collect the Dragon Balls for himself. He almost single-handedly defeats the army, including their hired assassinTaopaipai, whom he originally lost to, but after training under the hermit Karin, now easily beats. Goku reunites with his friends to defeat the fortuneteller Baba Uranai's fighters and have her locate the last Dragon Ball in order to revive a friend killed by Taopaipai.
They all reunite at the Tenkaichi Budōkai three years later and meet Kame-Sen'nin's rival and Taopaipai's brother, Tsuru-Sen'nin, and his students Tenshinhan and Chaozu, who vow to exact revenge. Kuririn is killed after the tournament and Goku chases after the killer, leading him to Piccolo Daimao, who easily defeats him. The samurai Yajirobe takes Goku to Karin, where he receives healing and a power boost. Meanwhile Piccolo fights Kame-Sen'nin and Chaozu, leading to both their deaths, and uses the Dragon Balls to regain his youth before destroying Shenlong. Goku then begins his battle with Piccolo Daimao, who, just before dying, spawns his son/reincarnation Piccolo. Karin informs Goku that Kami (God), the original creator of the Dragon Balls, might be able to restore Shenlong so that he can wish his friends back to life, which he does. He also stays and trains under Kami for the next three years, once again reuniting with his friends at the Tenkaichi Budōkai. Piccolo Jr. also enters the tournament to avenge his father, leading to the final fight between him and Goku. Goku just narrowly wins before quickly leaving with Chi-Chi, who surprised him by also competing and maintaining he keeps the promise he made to her as children.
Five years later, now a young adult and father to son Gohan, Goku meets his older brother Raditz, who reveals to him that they are members of a nearly extinct extraterrestrial race called the Saiyans (サイヤ人 Saiya-jin?). The Saiyans had sent Goku to Earth as an infant to conquer the planet for them, but he suffered a severe head injury soon after his arrival and lost all memory of his mission, as well as his blood-thirsty Saiyan nature. Goku refuses to help Raditz continue the mission and has to team up with Piccolo, and sacrifice his life, in order to defeat him. However, Goku is revived a year later by the Dragon Balls, after training in the afterlife, with the North Kaiō, in order to save the Earth from Nappa and the Saiyan prince Vegeta. In the battle Yamcha, Chaozu, Tenshinhan and Piccolo are killed, and, due to Piccolo being one with Kami, the Dragon Balls no longer exist. However, they learn that Piccolo and Kami are extraterrestrials called Namekians (ナメック星人 Namekku-seijin?) and deduce their home planet would have their own Dragon Balls, so a group travels to Namek (ナメック星 Namekku-sei?) in order to use them to revive their friends. However, the galactic tyrant Freeza is already there doing the same, leading to several battles with his minions and Vegeta, the latter of which teams up with the heroes to fight the Ginyu Force. After Goku arrives, the final long battle with Freeza himself comes to a close after Goku transforms into a legendary Super Saiyan (超サイヤ人 Sūpā Saiya-jin?) and avenges the lives of billions across the galaxy.
A group of Androids (人造人間 Jinzōningen?, "Artificial Humans") created by a member of the former Red Ribbon Army, Doctor Gero, appear three years later, seeking revenge against Goku. During this time, an evil life form called Cell also emerges and, after absorbing two of the Androids to achieve his "perfect form," holds his own fighting tournament to decide the fate of the Earth. After Goku sacrifices his own life to no avail, Gohan avenges his father by defeating Cell. Seven years later, Goku, briefly revived for one day, and his allies are drawn into yet another fight for the universe against a magical being named Majin Boo. After numerous battles and the destruction of the Earth, Goku destroys Boo having borrowed energy from everyone on the newly revived Earth. Ten years later, at another Tenkaichi Budōkai, Goku meets Boo's human reincarnation, Oob. Leaving the match between the two of them unfinished, Goku takes Oob away on a journey to train him.
   The story of Ares
I have taught you many ways to kill a mortal, Kratos. Flesh that burns, bones that break. But to break a man's spirit, is to truly destroy him.
Ares was the first god of war and the main antagonist of the God of War game.Ares is the God of War, son of Zeus and Hera, and one of the most prominent and powerful Gods of Olympus. He was born after the Great War and has served his father faithfully. He was also a rival of Athena, who is his younger sister. They were rivals because they were both gods of war and wished that the other stood down and let the other win. His Roman counterpart was Mars. Although Ares was held in much higher esteem, second only to Cronos; Ionic form of the Doricἀρά (ara), "bane, ruin"portrait-ares.jpg

Ares greek GOd OF WAR

Ares, Father of Victory,
Known by Many Names,
Leader of Men,
Lord of the Dance,
And Ares of the Mighty Heart.
Ares, the Greek God of War who is better known as the Roman god named Mars.areshera you see Hera was rather jealous of Zeus who was able to conceive a child, Dionysus, by putting the child into his thigh after the mother died. Hera took a magical herb that allowed her to have a child immaculately, this child was Ares.Hera is the Greek Goddess of Love and Marriage, and also known as the Queen of Heaven, wife of Zeus, King of Olympus. Hera was an extremely powerful Goddess in her own right even without Zeus. In honor of her great capacity to be a nurturing mother to the very world her very name translates as the “Great Lady.” The world galaxy derives from gala meaning “mother’s milk.” Legend says that the Milky Way was created by milk spurting from Hera’s breasts causing the Milky Way to form, and on Earth wherever drops fell, large beautiful fields of lilies sprung forth. In Roman mythology Hera was worshipped as Juno, and they named the lovely month of June after her (June which just happens to be the most popular month for weddings). For her sacred animals Hera chose first the cow, both because of how much the cow nurtured people and its young but also to set a good example for the other Gods and Goddesses (Queen’s got to show her subjects how it’s done). However she also wanted not be too plain so she also chose the Peacock and the Lion to symbolize her luxury, beauty, and immortality (Girl’s got to look good too right?). The Goddess Hera was depicted as supporting women all through their life, and was one of the most important goddesses to women. Hera blessed and protected women’s marriage, brought her fertility, and protected her children (which is kind of ironic considering how she attempted to slay all of Zeus’s illegitimate children), and helped her financial security. Hera was the complete all encompassing goddess for women. Hera was considered amazingly beautiful, one of the most beautiful goddesses. It was this divine and ravishing beauty that attracted the eye of her future husband and brother, the playboy Zeus. Zeus was able to trick her into taking him and embracing him to her breast by changing himself into a very small pitiful, wounded and frightened bird (kind of a like a more skillful and convincing “puppy dog eyes” approach to picking up women). When Hera saw the bird she took pity on it and gave it a great big hug. It was during this hug that Zeus found his moment of opportunity. He went from bird to man in nothing flat, and attempted to have his way with her. However Hera was able to avoid him and resisted his advances until they were both married. This delay however may have increased Zeus’s attraction and lust, for Zeus and Hera had the longest “honeymoon” ever known. It lasted 300 years! Suffice to say Zeus had help from the Greek God of virility Viagra. Throughout their marriage they would give birth to Ares, Hebe, Eris and Eileithyia. All of whom became very prominent Gods and Goddeses. Unfortunately after that honeymoon Zeus had gotten his fill and wanted something else on the menu. A notorious philandered, Zeus had numerous affairs, all of which infuriated Hera greatly. Hera felt betrayed and humiliated that Zeus would cheat on her (and so many times no less). Her pride as queen certainly did not help. To make matters even worse, Zeus doted on his illegitimate children more than his legitimate ones! At first Hera didn’t notice. When Zeus went out on his adulterous affairs, he sent a nymph named Echo, that would flatter Hera and say great things about her to distract her (now Zeus is a man who has a great comprehension of the female psyche). It worked for awhile, however Hera eventually found out, and first cursed Echo so she could only repeat the words of others said to her, and that’s the etymology of the word echo. Despite Zeus’s inability to keep it in his own toga, Hera did remain faithful and steadfast to Zeus. She also rarely punished Zeus for his affairs, rather she vented her fury and went psycho on the women that Zeus had the affairs with. In fact Hera is most famous for the ways in which she sought vengeance upon Zeus’s many mistresses and their children. Some of these even include the famous Gods, Artemis and Apollo, and Dionysus. In one story Hera found out about an affair with the Queen of Libya, Lamia. As soon as she found out Hera slew all of her children, which drove Lamia insane. Hera cursed her then with the inability to close her eyes so the image of her dead children would be forever engraved in her memory, Zeus took pity and gave her the abilities to remove and replace her eyes from her head at will. Eventually Lamia became a monster roaming the countryside. She envied mothers and their children and so she began eating children out of envy. It is unfortunate that none really remember Hera for her nurturing character and her steadfastness in adversity. Instead she is remembered for her vindictiveness and her vengeful episodes. Some say that this is a result of Homer, who casted a more negative portrayal of Hera, since he himself was a victim of a shrewish wife. Among the Greek Goddesses it is Hera shows us that there is both good and bad, dark and light within all of us. That we experience both joy and pain, happiness and anger, love and hate, all emotions that are inexorable in life.apolloZeus, Ruler of Mount Olympus,

Known by Many Names,
Lord of the Sky,
Rain-God, Cloud-Gatherer,
And Zeus of the Thunderbolt.
The Mighty Zeus, the Greek god known
also as the Roman god Jupiter or Jove.

The story of ZEUS

Zeus was the Greek god of the sky but also the supreme ruler of Mount Olympus, which domain included: all of the Olympian pantheon of gods as well as all of the earth, a mighty position indeed.

Zeus (not surprisingly) had an unorthodox childhood. At the time of Zeus’s conception Cronus, Zeus’s father, had been eating whole all the children his wife, Rhea, had born him. Not because they looked oh so scrumptious, but because of a prophecy that Cronus would be overthrown by one of his children. So simple solution: just eat your children.
However when Rhea had born Zeus she knew she couldn’t hand him over to Cronus to be devoured, so instead of handing Cronus Zeus to eat she took some clothes and wrapped a rock and gave that to Cronus (Cronus must have been as smart as one to actually fall for that). After she was safe she sent little Zeus to earth to be raised by nymphs and the divine goat Amalthea. Amalthea was also important later on because upon her death Zeus was moved to sadness and used her horn as the cornucopia and eventually used her golden fleece as the impregnable aegis.
Once he grew to be a young man Rhea sought him once more and brought him back to the gods, where Cronus employed him as the royal cupbearer of the Gods, not even suspecting that it was his son. Eventually Zeus was given a special wine, given to him by Metis, the Titan Goddess of Wisdom, to bear to Cronus. Upon swallowing it he vomited all of the previous children he had swallowed: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon.
Upon the regurgitation of his brothers and sisters he they were understandably pissed for having been digested for the last couple decades and so Zeus was able to band them together to wrest power away from Cronus and the Titans in a long bloody war that followed. They intended to give Cronus his just desserts (desserts that didn’t involve them).
The first thing they needed was some weaponry. So their first move was to travel into Tartarus together and free the Cyclopes who had been imprisoned there by Cronus. Upon freeing them they were so full of gratitude that they forged three excellent weapons. To Hades they gave him a magical helm which rendered him invisible while he wore it, a trident to Poseidon, and thunderbolts to Zeus.
The war was long and bloody and they all fought ferociously. The war finally ended when the three brothers cornered Cronus. Hades was able to sneak upon him invisibly and distract him while Poseidon used his trident to paralyze him, and finally Zeus applied the finishing blow, knocking him out with his thunderbolt. The war was finally over and the Olympian gods had won. The Olympians promptly banished almost all of the Titans to Tartarus, including their father Cronus. Although it’s been said that later Cronus was able to escape from Tartarus and lived with the mortals undetected afterwards.
Gaia was angered by the way the Olympians had treated her children (The titans were also her children) and so she sent the monsters Typhon and Echidna to attack them. Zeus was able to defeat them, and banished Typhon to Tartarus but allowed Echidna to live. Echidna was said to be the mother and the source of every monster portrayed in greek mythologies and stories.
Now came the ever important question of how to decide which of the three brothers got which realm. How did they decide this paramount question of severe importance? They drew lots. Hades drew the underworld, Poseidon drew the seas and the oceans, and Zeus drew the skies as well as Mount Olympus, making him supreme ruler of the Olympian gods.
Zeus however was a very hot-headed man at this point, and maybe a tad arrogant. Zeus built a luxurious and grand palace for himself upon Mt. Olympus where his throne sat. He also used his thunderbolts freely, flinging them at will at any and all who even dared to oppose him.
Upon becoming king Zeus was notorious for the number of consorts he had. They were bountiful, and Zeus kept on adding more and more. But of course being king of mount Olympus he decided he needed a wife. He first picked Metis, the goddess who had first helped him trick Cronus. However Metis declined and transformed to into a different form to try and elude Zeus, however Zeus was really persistent and relentlessly followed her until finally tired, Metis relented and accepted his proposal.
However Gaia was upset with the very heavy-handed rule of Zeus, and so she cast a prophecy that any son of Zeus born by Metis would become stronger than him and eventually usurp his power. So when Metis became pregnant, Zeus was extremely fearful. How did he solve his problem? He swallowed Metis and her unborn child whole (like father like son).
However as it turned out Metis was carrying no son, but a daughter, and while she was in the stomach of Zeus she began to fashion a shield and armor for her daughter. Long afterwards Zeus began to feel a terrible headache and he was in dire pain. Eventually when his headache was reaching the apex of its pain he asked Hermes, the messenger of the gods, for help. Hermes got a large golden axe fashioned by Hepheastus, and with it Hermes struck Zeus’s forehead splitting it right open (talk about a splitting headache), and from his forehead Athena popped out, fully grown and armored. Athena was a strong goddess who Zeus grew to trust deeply, and eventually Athena would become Zeus’s most trusted advisor.
Eventually after Metis was out of the way Zeus’s eyes fell upon the beautiful goddess Hera (who also happened to be his sister). The problem was Hera was not interested with being the consort of the arrogant god Zeus (that’s 0 for 2, apparently Zeus wasn’t THAT good with the ladies), and so she constantly did everything she could to evade him. Eventually Zeus realized what was going on and devised a plan to lure Hera into his grasp. Zeus transformed himself into a small helpless bird and soaked himself in a thunderstorm then approached Hera. Hera saw the small helpless bird and took pity on it and so she embraced the small bird. As soon as she did that Zeus transformed back to his regular form, and now that he was finally in front of her, convinced her of his love for her. Eventually she fell in love with him too; however she wouldn’t give in to any of his more demanding advances until after they were married. However this waiting may have amplified Zeus’s “feelings” for her, because after their wedding Zeus got the help of Viagra the God of Virility, and Zeus and Hera shared a three hundred year long wedding night.
However Zeus, even though he was married, didn’t at any point slow down his philandering ways, except of course for those three hundred years he was with Hera. He pursued goddesses, nymphys, mortals, and whatever else caught his eye. Zeus’s mythology is filled with all his various affairs, and the methods he used, turning into animals, turning into womans’ husbands, he did everything. With all this philandering there were plenty of children, many of whom mighty and powerful.
In the story of Alcmene, her and her husband were exiled from Thebes after her husband, Amphitryon accidentally killed his father in a freak incident. Amphitryon then refused to lay with Alcmene until he avenged the death of his brothers who had been killed in war against the Taphians. Seeing his opportunity Zeus descended upon the household of Alcmene, having transformed into the shape of Amphitryon. He then proceeded to describe to her “his” military conquests, and finally slept with her. The next day however (Zeus of course was long gone by now) Amphitryon had returned and began to recount his great stories to his wife, but she turned a deaf ear saying he’d already been there and laid with her the night before. Confused Amphitryon eventually sought Tiresias, the blind seer, who told him exactly what had transpired. Also it turned out from Zeus’s escapade Alcmene became pregnant.
Another prevalent part of Zeus’s mythology was that because Hera could do very little to vent rage upon her powerful husband, she usually directed her anger against his various mistresses, Alcmene was no different. While Alcmene was in labor Hera got the goddess of childbirth Lucina to descend upon the household and prevent Alcmene from giving birth. At first the midwives thought that she was there to help her but eventually the midwife Galanthis saw through the ploy and was able to trick Lucina in to losing focus for a moment, long enough for Alcmene to give birth. Her son was Heracles, the demi-god who would become one of the greatest greek heroes of all times.
When it came to getting some action, Zeus went far and wide and got plenty creative on several occasions. When King Acrisius of Argos locked his daughter up in a bronze tower (because there was a prophecy that said her son would eventually bring his downfall), did that stop Zeus? Nope, he just turned into golden rain and impregnated her that way. Did the presence of Europa surrounded by attendant after attendant with no privacy stop Zeus? Nope, he turned into a pristine white bull and abducted Europe right from where she stood to the island of Crete.
Sometimes though his philandering did land him in some trouble every now and again, such as in the story of Sisyphus. Zeus saw Sisyphus’s daughter and was rather enchanted with her beautiful appearance, and decided to go and start flirting with her (big surprise there). However Sisyphus being as overprotective as he was saw Zeus, not knowing it was Zeus, and attacked him with a club (talk about a boyfriend’s worst nightmare). Zeus, who had left his thunderbolts in a nearby tree, was helpless and could only simply run and finally turned himself into a stone. In the end Zeus was humiliated and was furious. He demanded that his brother Hades punish Sisyphus, and in the end Sisyphus was condemned to push a heavy rock up a hill forever.
Zeus’s hotheadedness extended further than just the ladies. He was harsh against any affront to his power as well. When Prometheus took pity on the mortals of earth and gave them the fire of Olympus, Zeus was furious. Zeus then captured Prometheus and tied him to a rock. The rock itself wasn’t so special, but what was special was the Eagle flying overhead. The eagle each day would devour Prometheus’s organs, and every new night Prometheus would regenerate his organs only to have them devoured once more by Zeus’s eagle.
At this point in Zeus’s reign the Olympians were growing weary of Zeus’s arrogance and his heavy handed ways, thus the Olympians planned a coup against him. The conspiracy was originally hatched by his brother Poseidon (yay brotherly love) and Apollo. The Olympians were eventually able to capture Zeus and imprisoned him. However the plans began to fall apart as the conspirators began to argue how to divide the power. While the Olympians were arguing Zeus broke free, essentially ruining the plot.
Perhaps being attacked and imprisoned by his brothers, sons, daughters, loved ones, and his wife gave Zeus the epiphany that perhaps he was not the most benevolent and wonderful of rulers. Thus, though the coup was a failure, it succeeded in having Zeus doing better as a ruler. Zeus shed his arrogant hotheaded ways, and became a very rational and outstanding leader. He had very high standards coupled with strict discipline. As for the coup itself he very fairly meted out punishments to all those involved.
For Apollo and Poseidon, who were the main conspirators in the plot, he let them off lightly with only a year of hard labor as mortals, and even forgave Athena for conspiring against him.
Zeus however left the most severe punishment for conspirators to his wife Hera. For her role, Zeus strung Hera from the stars with fine silver thread, tying heavy anvils to her ankles. For two days nonstop, Hera moaned from the intense pain that she felt. At the end of the two days Zeus took pity upon Hera and finally let he down, under the condition that she not betray him again, which she agreed to. Despite the quantity of Zeus’s affairs he still loved Hera. Eventually Hera was finally able to convince Zeus that he really didn’t need to continue with his infidelity. Finally Zeus saw the err of his ways, and he really did stop, plenty of ruined lives and dozens of illegitimate children later, but that’s beside the point.
Zeus rule did improve vastly, but he still needed help, he certainly had quite the staff on his side to assist him. His son Hermes became Zeus’s messenger as well as the aide of Zeus. Beyond the obvious message delivery, Hermes also countless times helped Zeus out of binds and tricky situations.
His daughter, Athena, was the goddess of war and wisdom (not to mention one of his favorite children) which were more than ample credentials to be Zeus’s most trusted advisor both inside and outside of battle. She was also the judge of the Olympian courts.
Zeus also had two other special attendants: Nike the goddess of winged victory, and the cup-bearer named Hebe. Hebe was a beautiful woman who served the drinks to the gods, however Hebe eventually left to marry Heracles. Zeus then found a young boy named Ganymedes. His beauty and youth entranced Zeus and he just had to have him as his cup bearer, turning into an eagle and abducting him on the spot.
Outside of the coup by the Olympians, the greatest threat to the rule of Zeus was Gaia herself. Gaia was furious about how her children, the Titans, had been treated by the Olympians and she wanted retribution against the Olympians, especially Zeus. She tried once before (see above) but failed, however if at first you don’t succeed try try again, and Gaia took this to heart.
With her second attempt Gaia laid siege to mount Olympus by sending an army of giants to attack and siege Mount Olympus. Usually this would be no difficult task for the Olympians to conquer, however Gaia made is so that only a mortal could go about killing the giants, which left the Olympians helpless against the giants. When the giants were about to scale Mt. Olympus and destroy everything Zeus’s son Heracles stepped up, and together they were able to kill all the giants.
Being as persistent as she was and even angrier that she had been thwarted again, Gaia created one more monster. This monster was Typhon. Typhon was a very special monster in that he had a regular human shape. What was not regular about him was that instead of legs he had thousands of snakes which each measured hundreds of miles longs (suffice to say applying socks in the morning was always a challenge). It was said that when Typhon stretched out to his very full length, his head touched the stars.
Seeing this monstrosity approach Mount Olympus, all the Gods trembled in fear. To escape they all transformed into small animals and escaped unnoticed, all but one that is.
Athena stayed behind, standing her ground. She was disgusted by the cowardly departure of the gods, and began taunting Zeus of how big a coward he was. Zeus not about to let himself be ridiculed by his own daughter finally turned around and faced the monster.
The battle between Typhon and Zeus for days as the two fought ferociously, with the very earth shaking as the two came to blows. The fight was reaching its climax as Typhon, in an attempt to end things, picked up a mountain to defeat Zeus with. However Zeus was able to throw with precision and skill, one hundred perfectly aimed thunderbolts at the distracted Typhon. By doing this he was able to destroy the mountain and bury Typhon under it thereby ending the fight. The mighty Zeus, king of the Gods, is the one who looms largest over greek mythology. He defended political order, exerted his wraith on those who dared angered him, seduced countless mortals, nymphs, and goddeses. Zeus was ever multi-faceted and ever intriguing in his rule.

The story of kratos
Born and raised in Sparta, Kratos was monitored, like all other younglings. During several tests, those that were deemed fit were to stay in Sparta to be trained as Spartanprotectors, while those deemed unfit would be sent to the mountains, sealing their fates. Kratos, already feisty and aggressive at his young age, along with his brother,Deimos, trained, and dreamed of joining the Spartan army when they grow up. On an ill-fated day, when the young brothers were training outside their home, the city was raided by the Olympian gods, Ares and Athena, and their army of centaurs, in search of the Marked Warrior. Ares, seeing Deimos' birthmark as a sign of the prophecy, then snatched him away. In anger and desperation, Kratos attacked the god to save his brother, only for Ares toKratos, but was stopped by Athena reminding him that they had what they were looking for. Before leaving,  smack Kratos back in to a pile of wood, leaving him with a scar .Insulted by this, Ares raised his sword to kill Athena apologized to Kratos, and disappeared into flames. The loss of his brother left an indelible mark on Kratos, as he vowed to never falter again. In honor of his brother, Kratos had this tattoo adorned on his skin, made in the exact image of Deimos' birthmark. After some time, Kratos marriedLysandra, and had a daughter, Calliope.
The final task in God of war

Ares, you will die for what you did that night!
Ten years passed since Kratos defeated Atlas and Persephone, and after having killed the sea monster known as the Hydra, Kratos received a chance to seek his revenge on the God of War, and rid himself of the terrible nightmares that haunted him. He was ordered by Athena to seek out Pandora's Box in order to help him destroy Ares.
It marks a new chapter in Kratos' story, as its listing notes to "Join Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far."
Kratos made his way through the war-ravaged city of Athens, killing countless minions of Ares and even the infamous Medusa, the Queen of the Gorgons. Following theAthenian Oracle's instructions, Kratos traversed the Desert of Lost Souls and found Pandora's Temple atop the back of the Titan Cronos. After having summoned the Titan by using the Titan Horn, he climbed to the top, made his way through the temple, and ultimately retrieved Pandora's Box, being the first human ever to do so. Sensing Kratos had obtained the Box, Ares, still in Athens, taking a huge broken pillar, hurled it towards Pandora's Temple. The pillar impaled Kratos into a wall. As he slowly died, Harpies took the Box back to Ares, while Kratos was sent to theUnderworld. When falling down towards the River Styx, Kratos grabbed hold of the Captain's leg, who had previously died at the hands of Kratos, climbed onto a ledge, and kicked the Captain down below into the River Styx.Though his past had been forgiven, the Gods could not relieve him of his nightmares. His last bit of hope taken from him, Kratos attempted to commit suicide by jumping from a cliff. Athena had a different plan for the Spartan; she saved his life and offered him the empty throne of the God of War on Olympus. He accepted the offer, settling upon the fallen god's throne, and becoming the new God of War.

Redemption and Vengeance

For breaking his oath, Ares sent The Furies to capture Kratos and force him to once again serve the God of War. Kratos was trapped in an illusion of his home in Sparta, but the Fury Orkos appeared before him and encouraged him to see past the illusion, using Lysandra's necklace and ring as totem to discern reality from illusion. Though Kratos distrusted him, he followed Orkos' instruction to seek outAletheia the Oracle at Delphi. The Oracle was captured byPollux and Castor. He took the Amulet of Uroborus from them after he killed them. Kratos travelled to the Harbor of Kirra where he encountered Orkos again. The oath keeper revealed that he is the son of Ares and Alecto. Ares wanted a perfect warrior who could help him overthrow Zeus. Disappointed in Orkos, Ares disowned his son, and Orkos became the oath keeper of the Furies to please his mother. He explained that Kratos was the warrior Ares sought and for that reason, Ares helped Kratos against the barbarians. The murder of his family was meant to be one of three "tests" that would bind Kratos to Ares's will. Orkos did his bidding as the oath keeper and did not question the Furies until Ares tricked Kratos into killing his family. Armed with this knowledge, Kratos took a ship to Delos.File:Ascension10.jpg
God of War: Ascension
I will never serve Ares again!

God of War: Ascension is the latest installment in the popular God of War series, released on March 12, 2013. It is the seventh game of the series, and will chronologically be the first chapter in the series, forming part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme.
The game predates Kratos' entire reign as the god of war, and features a timeline roughly six months after Kratos' unintentional killing of his wife and daughter. Flashbacks also occur, seeing as how this timeline follows his allegiance to Ares, which was already addressed in the original God of War.
It marks a new chapter in Kratos' story, as its listing notes to "Join Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far."

    • Sword

    • Shield
    • Sling
  • Kratos' Fists: If Kratos does not wield a World Weapon, he can attack with his bare fists.

Items

  • Amulet of Uroborus: The amulet was stolen by Castor and Pollux from the Oracle of Delphi and contains the power to warp time around the object or enemy it hits.  He uses it on several occasions in the game, able to heal or decay. In the E3 Demo, Kratos uses this ability to reconstruct an elevator, which is destroyed byCharybdis (Alecto). When used on enemies, they are slowed for a while, so if they are in the air at the time the magic is activated, they remain there for a few seconds. This ability does not deplete Kratos' magic, instead, it requires the relic to recharge for a short amount of time.
  • Oath Stone of Orkos: This stone is given to Kratos by Orkos and contains the power to create a shadow of Kratos. This power is used to solve puzzles as it copies Kratos' pose to hold cranks and chains in place. Later on in the game, it had to be used in combination with the other items to solve a puzzle.
  • Eyes of Truth: The Eyes of Truth is an item given from Oracle to Oracle to overcome the dark magic of the Furies. Kratos obtains it during his journey and can use it dispel the magic barriers created by the Furies .
